What do you post on Facebook?

Do you think before you share pictures and updates on Facebook?

I have already written about the timeline and how much time you spend on Facebook. I will continue to write about Facebook, because Facebook have come to stay.

This post is about the privacy. Do you really share everything with everyone? And again, are all your friends on Facebook, friends you want to share everything with? Are they good friends who will give you all the best whises, and not just hacking you.

Fortunately, Facebook has updated their terms regarding privacy since its inception in 2005. Now today - it is possible to decide who you want to share the information you post with. On this page you can read more about privacy on Facebook.

But even if you can restrict access, the information that Facebook shares with others have exploded. If you go here, and press the years, you will be able to see the evolution of the information sharing. You will see that it's scary how open your porfile is if you don´t close it. People should know about this so they would think more about what they post.

If I have been in charge, I would have limited the information that is shared.

But your friends are one thing, but what about the information you share, where does it go? Is it truly deleted when you hit the delete button? All of the information you share is saved by Facebook and what's scary is that it can be used for something else you don´t know about.

So do you think twice before you post anything on Facebook?
